2024 marks the 11th year of The Friendly Golf Society’s endeavours to do good for others.
The Friendly Golf Society is a band of business owners who make it their mission to enjoy life whilst helping others do the same.
Whilst taking a little time for ourselves, appreciating Mother Nature at her best and pretending to play some good golf, the realisation was reached that whilst enjoying the moment, we could also do some good for those who needed our help.
Reward yourself
Following the last few years we’ve all had, it’s important to set aside a little time for yourself.
If COVID taught us anything, it’s shown us to appreciate life and reward ourselves whenever and however we can.
Life is precious and here to be enjoyed at all costs.
With this in mind, we would like to help you celebrate yourself and all those endeavours you have accomplished over the years.
So, why not recharge, reset and take some time to enjoy the simple things that life has to offer ?
Churchill is believed to have said… “golf is a good walk spoiled”. Believe us, with the camaraderie, banter and all round good company our society brings, we’ll quickly disprove that opinion. We promise you there’ll be nothing spoiled about your day, no matter the standard of the golf.
We are busy business owners, determined to find time for ourselves, by experiencing the best courses Yorkshire has to offer.
The Friendly Golf Society only ever plays on the best marquee courses in Yorkshire. 'God's Own Country'.
We play on a different course each summer month, supporting charitable causes, generating local business and having fun playing a round or two of golf.
Motor Neurone Disease Association
All of our members are sports fans of one way, shape or form. We have been inspired by the exploits of sports legends Weir, Burrow, Darby, Slater and Sinfield. We shall continue to shine a light on the MNDA cause and raise funds for much needed research.
Your chance to do something for yourself, whilst helping others.
